9th EPMA Management Seminar


The 9th European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) Management Seminar, in conjunction with the 14th General Assembly, will be held from 15-16 May 2003 at the Villa Quaranta Park Hotel, situated in the heart of the wine growing area of Valpolicella Classica, between Verona and Lake Garda. The Management Seminar has become a regular annual event for the European powder metallurgy industry, providing an ideal opportunity to review industry developments, renew acquaintances and make new friends in a relaxed and informal setting.

Delegates will have the chance to visit the Lamborghini plant in S Agata and partners and accompanying persons can also choose to visit local tourist attractions on specially arranged tours, numbers permitting.

Internet access will be available, free of charge, for delegates during the seminar.

Key presentations will include:

• Overview of the PM industry in Italy.
• Developments in the Automotive Supply Chain and their Impact on the PM Industry.
• PM - the Way Ahead in Europe.


The General Assembly will take place on 15 May 2003 and is open to EPMA members and anyone interested in the activities of the Association. Again, it is planned to hold meetings of the EPMA Working Groups to coincide with this event. There will be an Open Meeting of the EPMA New Chemicals Policy Task Group as well as Steering Committee meetings of the EPMA Industry Research and Development Group, Education Training Group and Radnet, the Framework 6 proposed network.
