New Economics Director Joins Construction Products Association

The UK's Construction Products Association has welcomed Noble Francis as its new Economics Policy Development Director. He replaces Allan Wilen who left the CPA at the end of 2007.

Noble was the Senior Economist at Experian and joins the CPA at a very exciting time. The CPA said that its economics department had had an extremely successful year and its increasing credibility could be seen by the ever widening demand for the range of economic publications it provides.

Speaking about the appointment, Michael Ankers, Chief Executive at the Association, said: “I am delighted that Noble has joined our team. He comes with a first class economics pedigree and I know that his experience and enthusiasm will give an additional impetus to our economics activity. This is going to be a very important year for the Association and I know that Noble will be equal to the challenges ahead. He joins a very talented team and we are all looking forward to working with him”.

Noble added: “The Construction Products Association provides a very exciting challenge and I look forward to the opportunities ahead. I have very high regard for the reputation that the Association has developed and I am looking forward to increasing that reputation”.
