CoorsTek Announces Alliance with IBS of America

CoorsTek Inc, a large technical ceramics supplier and manufacturer of critical components for the pulp and paper industry and other high-technology markets, has announced its alliance with IBS of America, which authorises the company to sell, repair and regrind ceramic elements for the North American paper and paperboard market.

Established in 1979, IBS of America serves customers throughout North America with advanced ceramic covers, dewatering boxes, vacuum systems, tensioning systems and other products for the paper industry.

"We're excited to formalise our relationship with IBS of America," said Lee Harder, Vice President for CoorsTek. "The blending of our exceptionally durable ceramics with IBS high-performance production equipment should provide a substantial benefit to paper and paperboard manufacturers."

Paper mills presently using CoorsTek ceramics may now contact IBS directly for element replacement, repair and regrind services.
