Bulk and Powder Handling Technology Courses

The Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology, based at the University of Greenwich, London, England - is repeating its annual programme of industrially focussed, two-day short courses that cover all aspects of bulk and powder handling technologies.

The Centre says that the flexibility and interactive nature of the courses has enabled many companies to diagnose long-running production problems and assisted with resolving many operational issues that are usually accepted as the 'norm' when handling particulates.

Topics covered include pneumatic conveying, design of silos for reliable discharge, interfacing of feeders etc, in addition to product quality issues such as caking, degradation and segregation.

A full listing of the courses can be found on the Centre's web site: www.bulksolids.com
