BCT Announces Reorganisation

Having successfully completed the start-up of its ceramic wall tile factory (in Newton Abbot, Devon, England), British Ceramic Tile has announced the rationalisation of its organisational structure.

Tim Evitt, currently Chief Executive, will assume the role of President with responsibility for development of future options and external relationships.

Jerry Davison, currently Financial and Commercial Director, has been appointed Managing Director with responsibility for overall management of the company.

Lionel De Nas de Tourris has been appointed as Director of Operations for the Heathfield factory. Ian Crowther will join BCT in May 2001 as Sales Director.

The appointment of a new Finance Director will be announced shortly and this will complete the consolidation of the company's planned Board structure.

BCT went into production in September 1999 and since then has manufactured an average of 10,000 metres of tile per day and has secured a number of major contracts. The company is now one of the largest manufacturers of ceramic wall tile in the UK.
