Anniversary Allrounder from Arburg

On the 50th anniversary of its injection moulding machines, Arburg GmbH & Co KG (Lossburg, Germany) has presented its Allrounder C Golden Edition to customers, the inaugural event taking place during the February anniversary celebrations at the company HQ.

Arburg says that the new Allrounder represents a cost effective, hydraulic machine with a wide range of applications thanks to state-of-the-art technical components, comprehensive equipment and the most modern control alternative, Selogica direct. The anniversary machine combines practical clamping forces from 400kN to 2000kN, new injection units and what the company claims is an attractive price.

The Allrounder C Golden Edition machines are equipped as standard with the modern control alternative Selogica direct, which guarantees improved user comfort with a simple and clear menu navigation. Arburg says that the decisive factor is certainly the new 15-inch flat screen with a touchscreen user interface. The direct finger contact on the graphic operating symbols facilitates the control process.

Graphic direct access fields for the most important schematic images are available for detailed process optimisation. It is possible to save mould data on Compact Flash. The adoption of the proven operating philosophy of the Selogica control provides a high recognition factor, which in turn makes it easy to switch quickly and adaptively to the new system.

Thanks to the optimised navigation methods and the touchscreen, the Selogica direct guarantees shorter set-up times and a further improvement of operating reliability, to the benefit of the customer.
