Wienerberger Ensures Long-Term Continuity of Managing Board
Through a resolution dated 9 December 2008, the Supervisory Board of Wienerberger AG (Vienna, Austria) – one of the most significant heavy clay product manufacturers in the world – has extended the term of Willy Van Riet as Chief Financial Officer of Wienerberger to 20 May 2014.
As a result of this decision, the terms of office for the three members of the Managing Board – Heimo Scheuch, Willy Van Riet and Johann Windisch – will extend to May 2014. The Supervisory Board has also appointed Heimo Scheuch, COO of Wienerberger AG, as Deputy Chief Executive Officer effective on 1 January 2009. The term of office for Wolfgang Reithofer, Chief Executive Officer of Wienerberger AG, remains unchanged and extends to 20 May 2011.
