Company Name Change – TOTO’s Americas Subsidiary
TOTO Ltd (Fukuoka, Japan) has announced a company name change for its consolidated subsidiary, TOTO USA Holdings Inc, based in Morrow, GA, USA. The company will now be known as TOTO Americas Holdings Inc.
In laying out the reasons for this change, TOTO explained that with business activities expanding beyond the USA and Mexico, it has become necessary to change the company name so that it reflects the new system established to promote business development in areas outside of the USA.
This includes the expansion of sales routes in Central and South America and the establishment of an independent distributor in Canada.
The name change becomes effective on 1 January 2010.
