Development Prospects for Russia's Ceramic Sector Considered at Convention
At the end of November 2004, Sacmi's Ceramic&Tiles and Whiteware divisions took part in Moscow in a convention considering the development prospects for the ceramic market in Russia. Their themes were related to 'Evolution of Production Technologies in the Ceramic Tiles Sector' and the 'High Pressure Casting of WC Bowls'.
The event was organised by the committee of the Chamber of Commerce and the Information Institute of Technical-Economic and Marketing Researches of the Building Sector (Vniiesm), with the collaboration of the Building Federal Agency and the Constructors Russian Union and was held concurrently with the 4th specialised exhibition Strojprogress 2004 - Modern Home.
The potential of the Russian ceramic industry in managing the development of the home building, the raw materials for the ceramic and sanitaryware production, and national and imported machinery were scheduled as some of the issues to be addressed at the event.
