World Refractory Congress 2004
The organisers of the World Refractory Congress 2002 say that, following the success of the inaugural event, the next congress will be held at the Pan Pacific Hotel, Singapore from 27-29 June 2004. The choice of the venue was made after considering the majority of votes received from the attendees of WRC 2002.
The World Refractories Congress 2004 will be based on the theme 'Weaving the Global Refractory Community - New Challenges Ahead' and will bring forth discussions on issues relating to business, commercial and the latest technological developments in the refractory and allied industries world-wide.
The organisers added that an important aspect would be the focus on in-depth issues relating to the main challenges facing the global refractory industry today. Concurrent with the congress, the World Refractory Show 2004 will showcase the products and services of various companies world-wide, in order to generate superior networking opportunities and potential sales leads.
Submissions of papers and/or recommendations for speakers for the congress are being welcomed, as are any comments or suggestions for the WRC 2004 Congress.
