Health and Safety Quick-Check

BSI will shortly introduce its Health and Safety Quick-Check product which has been developed so that users have a state-of-the-art means of checking how their health and safety management system measures up.

BSI Health and Safety Quick-Check, which can run on a PDA/WDA and/or a PC,
contains:

- a series of questions, broken down into discrete sections.

- reference text (standards and guides in PDF format, or equivalent for the PDA/WDA application) linked to the questions.

- a summary and report function.

- reports that can be stored on the PDA/WDA and on a PC.

Users will be able to select an audit template and create a new audit, or amend existing ones. If users need to stop an audit part-way through, they can save it and call it up later; in this case, they will be given a guide as to how far they had got.

The BSI advance notice on this product put a price-tag of £320 on it.
