Ceramic Body Armour Business Mounts for Ceradyne
Ceradyne Inc (Costa Mesa, CA, USA) has announced the receipt of two orders totalling US$6.4 million for its ceramic body armour systems used to protect certain elite US military personnel. These orders are projected to be shipped during the first nine months of 2005.
CEO Joel Moskowitz commented: "We are pleased to continue supplying ceramic body armor systems to protect these elite US forces in the war on terror. These new orders represent Ceradyne's state-of-the-art ballistically enhanced systems and are different and separate from the large orders for Small Arms Protective Inserts (SAPI) the Company recently announced".
