Progress on Glassman Europe

The organiser of Glassman Europe 2005 - dmg world media (uk) - says that momentum for the international event is building and that online registration is now available. Visitors are advised to pre-register their attendance to speed their entry into the exhibition hall. All pre-registered visitors who attend will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win an Apple iPod to be drawn during the show.

dmg added that Glassman remained the world's only exhibition dedicated to the primary glass industry. The historic Veletrzni Palac in the centre of Prague, Czech Republic is the venue for the event, which is 95% sold out. Glass manufacturers will be able to visit companies such as Saint-Gobain SEFPRO-SEPR SA, Glass Service Inc, AGR International Inc, Bottero SpA, Gemco-SAS BV, Inex Vision Systems and Johnson Matthey who will be exhibiting the latest products and technologies for users' plants.

dmg has also announced details of the Partners Programme, which consist of two days of activities. Day 1 is a guided walking tour of Prague's Old Town, Jewish Ghetto, Castle and Cathedral. Day 2 includes a visit to a working glass factory and a visit to Castle Karlstejn.

The exhibition is officially sponsored by the Association of Glass and Ceramic Industry of the Czech Republic and the Association of Glass and Artificial Jewellery Industry of the Slovak Republic. Each Association has been working with the organiser to promote the show within the region's glass industry.
