Forward-Looking Theme for Next ACerS Annual Event

'Today's Research for Tomorrow's Technology' is the focus of the 105th Annual Meeting & Exposition of the American Ceramic Society (ACerS), scheduled to be held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN, USA from 27-30 April 2003.

With an expected attendance of more than 2,000 people from approximately 25 countries, the meeting and exposition is the largest technical ceramics event in the USA. It will feature more than 1,200 technical papers
presented in 27 topical symposia and six divisional programmes.

The Annual Exposition - held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting - will host more than 75 international and domestic companies in the ceramics and related materials industry.

These companies will display a wide range of products including: raw materials/minerals; furnaces; processing equipment; ceramic components; glass and optical products; glazes; manufacturing equipment; analytical instruments; and scientific publishers. The exposition provides exhibitors with the opportunity to meet major buyers for traditional as well as advanced ceramics.
