Efacs Software Completes Royal Crown Derby Project

Efacs Software, one of Europe's leading developers of integrated business software systems, has completed a £200,000 project for leading porcelain manufacturers, Royal Crown Derby.

Royal Crown Derby successfully completed a Management Buy Out of the company from the Royal Doulton Group on June 30th. The company is continuing to work with Efacs Software with on-going staff training for the EFACS system which is one of the leading software solutions for the manufacturing industry - offering extensive business planning and control functions to companies large and small.

Royal Crown Derby Financial Director Stuart Hughes explained: "We had no independent systems on site and only three months to complete a full installation. We needed an integrated system, modern and user friendly, that offered everything from sales order entry through planning to despatch, and of course, all the controls and financial information necessary to run a business.

"The project was a huge task during which we had to recruit and train people, install hardware and software and take on data from the Royal Doulton systems all in a very short space of time. It was a superb effort that brought us to a successful implementation on October 2nd."
