Atlas Mining Starts Selling Dragon Clays

Atlas Mining Company (Osburn, ID, USA) announced that its distributor, Lintech International (Macon, GA, USA) had placed an initial order for between 40 tons and 50 tons of Dragon Clay 100, Atlas Mining's finest quality processed clay. Due to the competitive nature of Lintech International's business, no terms were released.

William Jacobson, CEO of Atlas Mining, said: "We're pleased that we have been able to complete this order with Lintech. Since they are not the end user of the product, this indicates to us their positive attitude about our product including not only the sales they have lined up for this product but also future sales".

In a previously announced agreement between the two companies, Lintech will be the lead distributor of all halloysite clay products for Atlas Mining with the exception of the microtubular-related and NANO uses.

Tom Hinson, Lintech's President, said: "We received a sample of the clay and it is of exceptional quality. We'll be shipping this initial order to a variety of different buyers - both domestic and international - for use in a wide array of applications. These particular buyers use clay for a whole host of traditional products including fine china, various ceramic and porcelain applications, as well as glaze, finish and coating products".
