Dal-Tile Launches New Ceramic Tiles with MicrobanŽ Silver Antimicrobial Technology
Microban International Ltd (Huntersville, NC, USA) has announced its exclusive North America partnership with Dal-Tile Corp, the largest US manufacturer and distributor of ceramic tile and natural stone. Dal-Tile Corp is launching two new lines of ceramic tile with OutStand Technology™ featuring Microban® patent pending silver based technology, in order to create a line of ceramic tile that will stay cleaner for longer than ever before.
On an unprotected surface, microbes can double in number every 20 minutes. Microban antimicrobial protection works continuously to fight the growth of stain-causing bacteria, keeping Dal-Tile ceramic tile cleaner between cleanings. Moreover, because Microban silver technology is infused into the ceramic tile glaze during the manufacturing process, it won't wash off or wear away, providing an additional layer of durable, long lasting protection.
