Material Sciences Corp to Open Engineering Technical Centre
Industrial Heating (www.industrialheating.com) reports that Material Sciences Corp (Elk Grove Village, IL, USA) - a provider of material-based solutions for electronic, acoustical/thermal and coated metal applications - has leased space in a suburb of Detroit, MI, USA, where its Engineered Materials and Solutions Group plans to open an Engineering Center of Excellence.
MSC plans to use the centre for applications development work for Quiet Steel(r) and other acoustical/thermal products, as well as conduct product research and development to create complementary products for the automotive industry. MSC expects the centre to be ready by January 2006 and will move its regional sales offices to this location.
