Ceric takes over failed Keller

The 4th December 2000 marked the date of the official takeover of Keller (Ibbenbueren-Laggenbeck, Germany) by Ceric (Paris, France) with the signing of the contract documents.

Dr Norbert Kuepper, the insolvency administrator of the Keller Company, has thus, says Ceric, given preference to a sound industrial solution. He considers Ceric to be the most suitable partner for the re-establishment and continued development of the world famous Keller company which, until its failure announced shortly before October's Ceramitec exhibition, had for many years been a leading name in the design, development and manufacture of complete systems for the heavy clayworking sector of the ceramic industry.

The former Keller GmbH, under the expert professional direction of H Lens, is now to resume business operations with 340 experienced members of staff and is renamed Keller H.C.W. (Heavy Clay Works).

On the announcement Ceric commented that with itself and the new Keller H.C.W. a strong group - both technically and financially - had thus been formed; one which has a thorough knowledge and experience of the latest technologies and which constructs highly efficient works all over the world.
