Extension to WBB's Facility in Spain

The authorities of Castellon Port in Spain have approved plans to extend WBB Espana's warehouse and blending facility. The existing warehouse and land, which form a vital logistical asset for the WBB Minerals Group, currently occupy 14,000 sq.m. with a total storage capacity of 65,000 tonnes. When the extension work is completed this will be increased to 21,000 sq.m.

The new contract stipulates that work must begin within the next six months and so the foundations will be laid over the coming period to take advantage of the good weather. Construction of the new warehouse will begin next year. The extension of the warehouse and land will significantly enhance WBB Minerals' competitive advantage in this region.

WBB also announced that Donbas Clays JSC - its Ukrainian joint venture company - celebrated its 10th anniversary in July. The milestone was marked by a programme of events running for three days at the start of July for customers, staff and other stakeholders.
