Ukrainian Invitation to Refractories Specialists
Don Klio Company and CeraMMix (both Slavyansk, Ukraine) have extended an invitation to international companies, producers and suppliers of refractory materials for the ceramic and metallurgical industries to take part in the International Business Meeting of Refractory Plants Specialists, due to take place in Slavyansk from 18-20 September 2001.
The meeting will bring together leading local and international producers, suppliers and consumers of refractory materials from Ukraine, Russia and other countries. The international companies will have an opportunity to present their information before the target audience of ceramic and metallurgical companies, according to the organisers. The aim is also that they will have the opportunity to find new customers and partners in the Ukraine and other countries in Eastern Europe and to learn about the situation in the present day sector of the Ukrainian ceramic and metallurgical industries.
The aspects of energy saving are said to be the most urgent questions for the companies in the CIS countries at the present time. The obsolete equipment, which are at present a feature of the factories in this sector, need modernisation with advanced, up-to-date products.
The meeting will be divided into three main sections: the first will be devoted to the application of refractory materials in the ceramic industry; the second for the metallurgical and machine building plants; while the third part of the meeting will look at raw materials from Ukrainian suppliers for the refractory materials industry.
At the meeting, the questions of investment climate and financing possibilities from leading banks of the Ukraine will also be discussed.
