Superconductive Components On the Move
Superconductive Components Inc (SCCI) announced on 6 August 2003 that a letter of intent had been signed to lease 32,000 square feet in Columbus, Ohio for the company's administrative and manufacturing operations. It is expected that the move will occur on or around 1 November 2003.
Dan Rooney, Chairman and CEO, commented: "We are pleased to have located a facility that will enable us to improve our manufacturing efficiencies and also accommodate future growth, particularly in the emerging thin film battery market.
"We are a leader in the production of materials for these batteries, which are expected to achieve significant growth beginning in 2004. The recently completed financing included funds specifically earmarked for our move to a new facility."
