Russell Finex completes £40,000 investment programme to upgrade its Mesh and Spares Department

New facilities give customers faster response times and high quality, fully documented meshes

Separation technology specialist Russell Finex Limited has completed a £40,000 investment programme to upgrade the mesh and spares department at its head office in Feltham, Middlesex. The installation of new production equipment ensures an even faster response time to customer orders, guarantees high quality, documented meshes and improves customer service at all levels.

This major investment in facilities and production control procedures is in direct response to manufacturers' increasingly stringent demands for the highest quality products together with rapid response times.

Much of the new investment has been directed at producing a clean room environment, involving the laying of new coated floors and fume extraction equipment to ensure clean and efficient production processes and provide better working conditions for operators.

New mesh cutting and mesh stretching tables have also been installed to increase capacity. This new equipment also extends the range and size of meshes that can be made - Russell can now produce bonded mesh frames up to two meters in diameter and is also able to remesh competitors' mesh frames.

Stringent new control procedures have also been introduced to ensure the highest quality standards and full documentation packages can be provided, saving customers the time and resources required to validate the equipment. Mesh apertures and tensions can be accurately measured and recorded prior to bonding, and both average tensions and aperture sizes can be guaranteed within tight tolerance levels.
