Workshop on Particle Measuring Techniques Exceeds Expectations

Equipment and techniques comparison based on practical needs

The workshop series on particle measuring methods and techniques organized by the companies Retsch, Retsch Technology and Horiba for September is booked despite the addition of two more dates to the scheduled four. Due to the large demand for equipment and technique comparison tailored to practical needs in the field of particle measurement it is certain that a new workshop series shall be scheduled to take place in 2001. Anyone who is interested and would still like to take part in one of these workshops this year should inquire at Retsch about possible vacancies in the additional workshops.

This new workshop concept allows Retsch, Retsch Technology and Horiba - three different well-positioned companies - to demonstrate the various methods to characterize particle sizes for production sequences, quality control or research tasks in a brief and clear manner. The equipment presented during the workshops has been put together so that they complement one another and cover the entire range of particle measurement for wet and dry particle analysis from 20 nanometers to 30 millimeters. "In the course of the workshops the user shall have the opportunity to become acquainted with the entire spectrum of theoretical approaches, respective equipment and their practical use in wet and dry particle analysis," emphasizes Retsch's marketing director Anke Seibel.
