Maintaining Optimum Temperature

The optimum temperature indicator from Kalestead (Braintree, Essex, England) is designed to give a highly visible and audible means of monitoring temperature on any process or storage application where maintaining an optimum temperature is important.

By the use of large LED indicators, clearly visible at a distance, plus an optional sound output transducer, the 'Tempalert' range is said to provide an extremely cost effective solution to temperature monitoring problems.

The audible sounder can be linked to any of the three temperature settings - 'above', 'optimum' or 'below'. The optimum temperature can be factory calibrated or self set using a suitable KAL digital calibrating thermometer or millivolt source.

The instrument is available for use with thermocouples (Types K and T) as well as Platinum Resistance PT100 ohm sensors. Existing temperature probes can be used via a standard mini thermocouple socket or, for PRTs, a mini DIN socket.
