New On-Line Publications Alert
The Materials Research Society (Warrendale, PA, USA) - MRS - has announced a new service for both its members and the materials research community, the MRS Publications Alert. This free listserv will provide advance table-of-contents listings for the MRS Bulletin and Journal of Materials Research. Subscribers will receive each alert prior to the availability of the print version.
MRS Bulletin is ranked 1st among 67 applied physics journals and 2nd among 159 materials science journals in the Institute for Scientific Information Journal Citation Reports (JCR) impact factor rating, 1999 Science Edition. The Journal of Materials Research (a monthly journal) publishes over 4,000 technical pages annually and over the past 16 years has addressed more than 150 different topics.
