Nanophase Technologies Announces New Nanomaterial Availability

Nanophase Technologies (Romeoville, IL, USA), a technology leader in nanomaterials and advanced nanoengineered products, has announced the commercial availability of nanocrystalline tin oxide produced by the company’s patented NanoArc® Synthesis process using the most recent advances in finite particle size control.

NanoArc® Tin Oxide consists of non-porous, dense, discrete particles with an average size of approximately 20 nanometres. The new nanoengineered material is available as solid nanoparticles or as a highly stable dispersion in either aqueous or various organic media at high concentrations. NanoArc® Tin Oxide is expected to be suitable for a wide range of applications, including electrical and electronic components, antistatic coatings, polishing of various media, advanced ceramics and industrial catalysts.

Nanophase Technologies Corporation is a leader in nanomaterials technologies and provides nanoengineered solutions for multiple industrial product applications. Using a platform of patented and proprietary integrated nanomaterial technologies, the company creates products with unique performance attributes from two ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 facilities. Nanophase delivers commercial quantity and quality nanoparticles, coated nanoparticles and nanoparticle dispersions in a variety of media. The company owns or licenses 18 US and 43 foreign patents and patent applications.
