Michell's Expansion Reflects Optimism for Future Growth

Michell Instruments Ltd (Cambridge, England) - a leading UK supplier of humidity measuring instrumentation - has announced a major factory expansion programme which, the company's CEO claims, not only indicates Michell's confidence in British workers but also reflects the growing optimism surrounding the company.

The expansion programme will add 2,000 square feet of office, laboratory and test space over a 12-week period to the manufacturing facility in Cambridge. The additional space will be used to house a completely new sensor manufacturing facility and to accommodate vital additional staff.

The move, says the company, is in response to rapidly increasing demand for its impedance hygrometers and chilled mirror dewpoint meters. However, the company plans to use the investment as a springboard for further expansion.

Michell's CEO Mike Bannister said that the company expected to be able to accommodate a doubling of production in the next three years through the new factory.
