Mapei products used extensively on a floor-tiling project
Mapei products were used extensively on a floor-tiling project in the new passenger subway link at Heathrow Airport terminal 2. The flooring material was 4000-sq. m of Fritz Tile, Mapei Latexplan was used to level the floor, triblock and biblock were used as damp proof agents and Mapei Adesilex V4 was the adhesive used.
Mapei Adesilex V4 was chosen because, according to David Zannetti of Marble Flooring Specialists, the flooring contractors, "setting times suited the working hours of the site as everything had to be done at night."
