Elmeceram Announce Malkin Deal

Elmeceram SA (Oradour/Vayres, France) has announced the integration of the Malkin range of products into its group. The deal, made for an undisclosed sum, includes the acquisition of an exclusive licence to manufacture and sell the full range of Malkin equipment and spare parts.

Malkin equipment, which according to the new owners has for so long been considered as an international leading brand in the field of decorating technology, will immediately become available through the Elmeceram organisation. This includes subsidiaries in the UK and the USA together with the head office in France.

Elmeceram will also provide the after-sales service covering spare parts, machine rebuilding and technical assistance for Malkin machines world-wide.

Don Jones, the Managing Director of Elmeceram, commented: "We are extremely pleased to have concluded this deal which will enable Elmeceram to continue the Malkin tradition of building high quality machines to meet the specific needs of their customers.

"It is also a further commitment to our future in the UK and notably Stoke-on-Trent, where we believe there will be a sizeable tableware market in the years to come."
