LB Technology Installs More Lines in Italy
The two new LB Easy Color System dry powder colouring lines installed by LB Officine Meccaniche SpA (Fiorano Modenese, MO, Italy) at Impronta Italgraniti's factory in San Martino in Rio (RE, Italy) will start up production during the next few months, it has been announced.Easy Color System is the unique dry powder colouring system patented by LB Officine Meccaniche SpA and is now the most widely used system in the ceramic sector with more than 250 installations worldwide. The system, already used for years by Impronta Ceramiche, has revolutionised porcelain tile processing and brought numerous benefits, particularly for its capacity to meet companies' needs for flexible production.
In addition to the contract gained with Impronta, LB was also able to report that Serenissima (Casalgrande, Italy) recently signed an agreement with the company to expand the spray-dried powder storage plant at the Cercom factory at Filo d'Argenta, in the province of Ferrara. This investment underscores Serenissima's high degree of specialisation in the field of porcelain tile, based largely on its many years of cooperation with LB.
