Lampang Ceramic Fair
The 2002 Lampang Ceramic Fair will be held in Lampang, Thailand this year from 4-10 December. This is a well known event in the country which gathers together in one place an impressive number of Lampang producers in a wide range of ceramic categories.These include ceramic vases, tableware, celadon, benjarong, figurines, dolls, decorative ware etc. Factory owners are usually on hand for direct contact.
The Thai Ceramic Information Exchange Group (TCIE) adds: "It is a very efficient way of getting acquainted with a great number of prospective suppliers in a short time. For the tourist, it is also a chance to browse and buy souvenirs directly from the factory, since retail sales are normally conducted in most exhibit booths".
