Korean Tilemaker to Expand Further

Dae Bo Ceramic Co Ltd (Suwon, South Korea), has recently finalised an order with SACMI for a forthcoming expansion project. The order includes a complete production line with forecast output levels of about 8,000 square metres per day of biscuit tile.

The equipment will be installed at the Guesan plant, already extended last year, with the construction of new buildings. This is the now the company's main production site. Driven by steadily growing tile demand in the Korean market, Dae Bo has expanded steadily but this is said to be the first time that Dae Bo has chosen to rely on a single supplier.

The change of policy is reportedly because the company needs to complete the project as quickly and reliably as possible so as to be sure of grasping the opportunities offered by the currently favourable market situation.
