KEMET Expands Ceramic X7R MLCC Portfolio

KEMET Corp (Greenville, SC, USA) has announced the addition of voltage and capacitance extensions to its commercial X7R ceramic surface mount portfolio. New releases offer capacitance ranges from 8.2 microfarads to 10 microfarads in EIA 1206 case size with a 16V rating. Components provide circuit functions such as decoupling and output filtering to the computer, power supply and automotive market segments.

Newest capacitance values are available in X7R dielectric and in K (±10%) and M (±20%) tolerances. The operating temperature range of these capacitors is between minus 55°C and plus 125°C, with zero bias capacitance shift limited to ±15% over those ranges. Components are suitable for reflow and wave soldering. All parts are environmentally friendly, in compliance with RoHS legislation.
