Kazak Building Show for September

KazBuild 2000, said to have been for several years already the leading building and construction exhibition in Central Asia, will take place from 6-9 September at the Atakent International Exhibition Centre in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Now in its 7th year, KazBuild presents a wide range of displays by companies already established in, or wishing to develop business supplying, the Kazakhstan construction, building and interiors industry. With a variety of sectors represented, the popularity of this event is reported to have grown steadily since its launch in 1994.

The exhibition incorporates Interiors Kazakhstan 2000, which exclusively promotes products from the interior design, furnishings, flooring and finishes sector. It also includes Heat*Vent Kazakhstan 2000.

There are over 100 exhibitors from 20 countries confirmed for this year's exhibition and more than 11,000 local and international trade visitors are expected. The President of Kazakhstan states that the government's cardinal objective is "to present Kazakhstan in the eyes of the world community as an attractive object of investments in major industries". The exhibition is organised primarily by ITE in association with ITECA and GIMA, who handle exhibitor participation in Kazakhstan and Germany respectively.
