Jiangxi Province to Invest in New Ceramic Projects Via JVs and Cooperation
The Government of Jiangxi Province in PR China has included several ceramic projects in its light industry investment wish-list for 2002.Jingdezhen Huaxun Special Ceramic Co is looking to produce 650,000 pieces of a new, lightweight bulletproof ceramic. Meanwhile, Ceramic Industrial Co of Jiangxi Province is looking to use new material ceramics development to introduce different kinds of everyday ceramic products, including some ornamental ware. Jingdezhen Yuzhou Ceramic Industrial Co is to adopt well developed advanced technology to produce coloured glaze, mid-temperature ceramic ware sets, destined for the export market.
Sanlei Ceramic Industrial Co seeks to adopt rare-earth adopting technology to innovate its existing production line to reach a new capacity of 8 million pieces of transfer printing paper and 300,000 tons of glaze colour pigment.
The overall investment needed to service all these projects - to be achieved in general by joint venture or other commercial cooperation - is put in the region of US$29 million.
