ICT Annual Conference
The Institute of Clay Technology (ICT) has announced that its 70th Annual Conference will take place from 8-10 October 2004 at the De Vere Hotel, Blackpool, Lancs, England. The Herons Reach location is set in 236 acres of beautiful parkland yet with easy access from the M6 and M55; it is also only two miles from the centre of Blackpool.
The theme of the conference is 'The Challenges of the European Market' and the ICT said that the services of a wide range of speakers from both within and outside the industry had been secured to provide delegates with some balanced views of Europe.
The usual range of accompanying events has also been organised by the ICT, including the annual golf competition, outside visits and Ladies programme, annual gala banquet, shooting and sports competitions, archery, boules and live evening entertainment.
