Changes at Supplier to the Refractories Sector
R Hostombe Ltd (Sheffield, England), a leading supplier of raw materials to the refractories, steel and foundry industries, historically been split into several departments. It is now recognised that by amalgamating these and diversifying into a wider range of materials markets, the company can move forward faster and more efficiently in a challenging manufacturing environment.
The departments have pooled resources and experience totalling over 150 years and will now be strengthened by new board member, John Barnsley. Roger Hostombe, the company's Chairman, said that he was looking forward to becoming more involved with the company which started his career with the Hostombe Group more than 30 years ago.
David Delamore and Rod Fearn will be stepping down from their positions with the company and the board has wished them every success in their future careers.
Linda Rapinet, the Financial Director, said: "The company is looking forward to an effective and successful development growth into and throughout the 21st century. The existing trade will be progressed and expanded upon and new areas of business researched and advanced".
