Five-year forward look for NPL
National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and Quotec Ltd have been commissioned by the British Government's Department of Trade and Industry to determine the UK's materials measurement research needs over the next five years. The five-year forward look involves widespread consultation with industry in the UK and abroad. The partners will be seeking views on:
the drivers for improved competitiveness in manufacturing how improved materials measurement can benefit companies through new and improved products and processes.
