WS Industrial Designs Gains Success in Egyptian Sanitaryware Market

WS Industrial Designs Ltd (Leek, Staffs, England) has announced the completion of a major contract for the supply of sanitaryware manufacturing equipment to Egypt. The customer is Al Amir For Sanitaryware Production, a recently established company that is part of Porcelain & Ceramics Al Amir, one of the major tile manufacturing companies in Egypt.

The scope of supply includes: castware inspection/control booths; glaze spraying booths; glaze spraying equipment, including 250-litre pressure pots; and glazed ware foot cleaning machines, all manufactured from stainless steel. In addition, Al Amir has purchased a PSG 550 Pantograph Grinding Machine that will help to ensure the finished sanitaryware will meet international standards.

Bob Dean of WS Industrial Designs commented that the Al Amir contract was the first phase in a major investment programme. "We have an enviable track record within the sanitaryware sector and Egypt has tremendous potential," he said.

WS is currently manufacturing a number of Pantograph Grinding machines for LECICO (Borg El Arab plant), major Middle East sanitaryware producers, and part of the world-wide Sanitec Group of companies.
