International Colloquium on Refractories
A detailed programme and registration form is available for the 45th International Colloquium on Refractories. The theme of this year's event is 'Refractories for Ironmaking, Foundries and Non-Iron Metallurgy' and it will take place in Aachen, Germany from 16-17 October 2002.Sessions will include: short reports from institutes; pig iron, induction furnaces; non-ferrous metals; shaped refractories; unshaped refractories; and thermal insulation.
It has additionally been announced that next year's meeting will focus on 'Refractories for Non-Metallurgical Application' and will be held in November (12-13) rather than October.
Exhibitors at the 2002 event will include Alcoa, DIFK, Keith Ceramic Materials, Laeis Bucher, MPT, Rütgers VFT, Velco, Vesuvius, Wassmer, Keravit, Martinswerk and Montanbüro.
