Cersanit Plant Comes Into Operation

The new Cersanit Group (Poland) tile production plant is now fully operative. Said to be exceptionally modern and functional, this plant features Sacmi technology at every level: continuous grinding, spray drying, pressing, drying and firing.

With an output capacity in excess of 6 million square metres per year, the plant has also been designed for maximum flexibility to allow for a wide range of product mixes and sizes. This will give Cersanit the elasticity it needs to respond quickly to market demand.

It is reported that the new plant start-up was completed without any problems whatsoever and that productivity targets have been complied with in full. Over the past four years, Cersanit has made three major investments in its production plant and has chosen Sacmi technology each time.
