CERAM - The 2000 - 2001 Evening Workshops Programme


CERAM will be holding a series of Evening Workshops for its Members during the Autumn and Winter months of 2000 and into 2001.

These are available to all members of CERAM Research Ltd free of charge and are held at our site here in Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent.

The following topics will be covered:

  • Modelling for Increased Productivity (seminar) dated 20 Sep 2000


  • Pressure Casting dated 18 Oct 2000


  • New Raw Materials in Ceramics dated 13 Dec 2000


  • Assessment of Kiln & Firing Processes dated 17 Jan 2001


  • Methods to Improve Glaze Application dated 14 Feb 2001


  • Ceramic Production Faults dated 14 Mar 2001


  • A practical hands-on workshop in Mould Making will be organised in November 2000. Limited spaces are available and applicants will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. A nominal charge will be applied to cover material costs. Further details will be published in July 2000.
