New Workshop at NPL

'Application of Cure Monitoring' offers an opportunity for materials processors, materials suppliers, instrumentation suppliers and researchers to participate in a one-day workshop on the application of cure monitoring to industrial processes, particularly for composites and adhesives. The workshop will be held at the National Physical Laboratory on 13 June 2002 and will include presentations and demonstrations on cure monitoring technologies. The cost of the workshop is £95 including lunch and a free publication.

This workshop will launch a new DTI supported project, 'Cure Monitoring for Shorter Cycle Times'. The major industrial driver for this project, run by NPL in conjunction with TWI, is the reduction of manufacturing costs for materials processors. The implementation of cure monitoring will significantly reduce cycle times and improve quality for many processes. The objective of this project is to provide guidance to industry on the application and benefits of cure monitoring.
