Viscometers for High Shear Applications
The need for instruments suited to high shear applications is being met by Brookfield Viscometers Ltd (Harlow, Essex, England). Suitable for QC or product development, Brookfield's CAP 1000+ and 2000+ viscometers are claimed to be the perfect way to measure high shear product viscosity.
Described as easy to use and meeting all relevant ASTM, ISO and BS industry standards, these instruments simply and easily simulate the high shear conditions typically found in brushing, rolling or spraying.
The CAP 1000+ is a single speed instrument offering a quick single point test for QC purposes, which can be pre-configured by Brookfield to suit individual test requirements.
The CAP 2000+ is a variable speed instrument suitable for R&D applications or more defined QC.
