Reorganisation of Export Wing of European Tilemaker

Announced on 3 April 2001 by Deutsche Steinzeug Fliesen GmbH, the sales management for residential and architectural ceramics of the trademarks Agrob, Buchtal, Ostara and Rako has been reorganised. Under the supervision of Managing Director Richard Reiter, the following areas of responsibility have been assigned for the Western European markets:

* Helmut Stalla, previously responsible for sales of the Rako products in Germany and Western Europe, will act as Export Manager. In Germany, the Rako products are marketed exclusively through selected specialised dealers. For the rest of Western Europe, the previous sales structures remain valid for Rako.

* The sales management of all trademarks for Region 1 (Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Holland and Switzerland) is the duty of Peter Manner.

* The Sales Manager for Region 2 (Greece, Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland, Malta, Austria, Portugal, Scandinavia and Cyprus) is Heinrich Heller.

The company added that with the restructuring of the sales management for exports to Western Europe, essential preconditions have been created to further consolidate the market positions of the successful Agrob Buchtal, Ostara and Rako trademarks and to guarantee an even better customer orientation. Furthermore, the statement concludes, this concept is in conformity with the already practised group strategy, that in future only one sales organisation bears the responsibility for several brands.
