Upgrades in Spanish Ceramic Tile

Several companies in the area of Spanish ceramic tile production have announced recent upgrades and expansions.

As part of a redirected marketing drive, El Molino, based in Onda, Castellon, has added porcelain tile to its product mix. The additional output was primarily facilitated by the installation of an additional kiln that produces a new 33cm x 51cm wall tile range.

Meanwhile, Exagres (Betxi, Castellon) - a member of the 'Habitar en Rustico' group that includes Gres de Andorra and Ceramicas Sichar - continues to invest in technological upgrades. As a result, the company has added extruded white body porcelain (a high quality, technologically advanced tile) to its product mix.

Finally, recent business developments at the Ceramicas Azahar Group have increased production of ceramic floor and wall tiles to a total of 13,000 sq.m. per day. The group operates two manufacturing facilities and markets its products under two brand names - Ceramicas Azahar and Incea.
