Free Seminar and Course Programme Announced

Malvern Instruments (Malvern, Worcs, England), a leader in particle characterisation, has launched a major new initiative with a programme of on-line seminars and training courses that anyone with a phone line and an internet connection can access, free of charge.

The programme kicks off on 3 May 2001 and there are 16 on-line sessions scheduled up to the end of June.

Presentations range from introductory courses for those new to the field of particle characterisation, to more advanced topics that are tailored to specific industries, applications and technologies. These include areas such as acoustic attenuation spectroscopy, particle size and shape analysis and on-line particle size analysis.

Randy Byrne, Malvern's Vice President of Marketing, sees the launch of this programme as a significant step forward in ensuring the greatest possible access to the Malvern's expertise and experience: "Malvern Instruments has embraced the internet and the new and emerging electronic media as an ideal means of communicating with our extensive and truly global customer base.

"The advent of the on-line seminars and training courses represents an important extension of our activities that will allow us to make available to a wide audience the tremendous expertise that resides within the company. We are looking forward to getting started and will be actively soliciting feedback from our participants in order to shape future programmes."
