Anglo-French Tie-Up in Powder Rheometry

Freeman Technology (Malvern, Worcs, England) has announced that it has appointed Equipements Scientifiques (ES) as its exclusive distributor for the new FT3 Powder Rheometer in France. ES was established in 1963 and now operates from purpose built premises just outside Paris. The FT3 will be sold and supported by the dedicated Bio-Test Division under the guidance of Daniel Guez.

Daniel said: "Research scientists, formulation specialists, QC experts and process engineers all know that powders are very unpredictable. The new FT3 Powder Rheometer provides a revolutionary means of assessing the flowability of powders. The potential increases in processing efficiency and reduction in costs for our customers are significant".

Reg Freeman added: "We are very excited about the possibilities in France. More than half of the output of chemical and pharmaceutical industries is in powder form at some point of its manufacture. The FT3 can evaluate flow properties in a small sample, accurately predicting the behaviour of a particular powder".
