New Chairman for Tile Association
Brian Newell, founder and Chairman of Shackerley (Holdings) Group Ltd, has been appointed as Chairman of The Tile Association (TTA). Brian has been Chair of TTA technical committee since its inception and is UK delegation leader to the European Committee for Standardisation of Tiles & Tiling.
On taking on the chairmanship, Brian stressed how delighted he was with the achievements of TTA in having "successfully established our organisation as the voice of the tile industry - an authoritative, credible and proactive organisation exerting influence at a national and international level".
On membership, he added: "We have to continue in our mission to educate and recruit those across the tiling industry who have yet to recognise the benefits and advantages that TTA membership can bring".
